 Protecting Your Home System
Solution Hello,

With the internet getting more dangerous as each day passes many users do not know what they should be doing to properly protect their computers. So I thought I might write this up for you all so you know how and what to do. These programs are the ones I use and I have tested.

 1) A good virus program is needed. Now I tested like 10 of the top virus programs on how they scan in slow down on my system. I did this by scanning and running many programs at one time. I only found one that was great. I then spent a day reading many forums about it to make sure it does a good job.
Eset is my virus program of choice. http://www.eset.com/smartsecurity/

2) Now we need 2 or more programs to scan for spyware. Why do we need so many? Well you will find one will catch things the other does not. They are free so why not.
a) Spytbot (free and works great)
b) http://www.malwarebytes.org/

3) Now what about all those programs on your computer are they up to date? By not updating your programs you are leaving yourself wide open. This program is also free and does a great job.

Do not be lazy run these programs 2 or 3 times a week more if you can. Keep your PC safe and your internet experience will be much more fun. Preventing problems before they happen is worth their weight in gold.

Now another thing you may wish to consider if your web site only accepts ads from certain countries why not go the extra mile and protect your users. If your site only takes ads from USA or maybe JAPAN why allow everyone in the world to access. Send them else where you will be protecting your users and saving yourself bandwidth.
